I sang the service of a close friend's wedding today.
My date stood me up. My hair is a bit of a mess; I got a huge blister on my little toe and the ring bearer was screaming through half of the mass.

But you know what? It was still the most beautiful wedding ever.

The love, tenderness and adoration between the bride and groom moved me to almost tears. I was singing though, so I couldn't allow myself to cry. They are truly ready and willing to become one flesh, to become Christ to each other.

It makes me very hopeful for a wedding of my own someday.
